Seattle Mariners
The Seattle Mariners are a professional baseball team in MLB, competing in the American League West division. They became an expansion team in 1977, initially playing home games in the Kingdome, and later moving to T-Mobile Park in July 1999. The team's name, "Mariners," reflects Seattle's maritime culture. They are often called the "M's" and have adopted navy blue, northwest green, and silver as their team colors since 1993, though their original royal blue and gold colors are still used in alternate uniforms. Their mascot is the Mariner Moose.
